Mohave County turned off its online inmate search tool in 2024. The Mohave County inmate search page explains why. A court case called Houston v. Maricopa County raised legal issues about posting mugshots and booking data online. The county decided to stop online searches to follow the new rules.
You can still find out if someone is in custody. Call the jail at (928) 753-0759. This line runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Staff can tell you if a person is being held and give basic booking information over the phone. It takes more effort than online search, but it works.
The county sometimes releases inmate lists as PDF files through press releases. Check the Sheriff's Office news section for current roster information. These PDFs may not be as current as the phone line.
